That's enough about you...

That's enough about you...
That's enough about you!

... let's talk about me!

Welcome to my first blog post which I suppose by its very nature is about me but mainly about the things I care about in life & in the case of Parkinson's 'disease' something which has dominated the course of my life during the past 2 years especially... but which I refuse to let define me.

My aim is to share stories, tips with people to mutual benefit, whilst integrating other aspects of my life & work, in particular my love of music & I'm fortunate enough to work in that industry. I've been considering some fundraising for Parkinson's & came up with a bright idea about 12 months ago which involved me walking the full length of Hadrian's Wall. I delayed, & delayed a little more, & during the past few months developed a painful & uncomfortable mobility/injury problem with my left ankle / achilles & the Hadrian's Wall idea is currently crippled (please forgive the pun!).

So, I've been considering alternative methods towards fundraising & have decided to try marrying those with the creativity currently bursting out of me - my work in music is principally management & business. Maybe this blog will be the opportunity & catalyst for different things. More of that later.

So, I'll be asking you for money? That's what this is all about, I hear you say? Well not yet, that's for sure, but in the future my intention is to raise funds for Parkinson's UK & the extremely important work they do in the search for a cure & ease the many far-reaching symptoms of this cruel & relentless illness.

Meanwhile, if you're interested in what I have to say about music, about Parkinson's & other things in life, I invite you to please hit the subscribe button to stay in touch!
