For sheer enthusiasts

Several months ago I stumbled across a youtube site operated by a guy called Rick Beato. He has around 5.5 million subscribers. I assume that any of you that are guitar enthusiasts will already know of him but for me it was a revelation. As well as being an accomplished musician and producer, Rick conducts the most fascinating in-depth interviews with guitarists and producers.

I could choose several of the many interviews which are amongst my favourites. Some I like for the sheer enthusiasm of the interviewees as they talk about their art. I love the passion with which they and Rick discuss their beginnings, how their careers evolved and some of the developments along the way, and issues of the day such as AI.

For humility, humour and enthusiasm, I've selected one interview from a couple of years back with Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme. In with some of the best parts of this interview is Nuno's account of hanging with Eddie Van Halen (or Edward as Nuno refers to him)
